KickStart for Kids’ No Breakfast, Breakfast: Raising Awareness for Child Poverty in SA

Writer: David Vincent RoccaDavid Vincent Rocca

Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to capture the energy and impact of KickStart for Kids’ No Breakfast, Breakfast at the Hilton Adelaide. This powerful event brought together over 300 people, all united by a common goal—to raise funds and awareness for child poverty in South Australia. A Morning Without Breakfast for a Greater Cause

The No Breakfast, Breakfast is more than just an event—it’s a powerful initiative designed to highlight the struggles faced by children who go to school hungry every day. By skipping breakfast, attendees experience a small glimpse of what thousands of kids in SA endure regularly. Capturing this event through my photography and videography was an absolute privilege, and it was amazing to see my content shared across social media and media press, amplifying the message even further.

It’s Never Too Late to Make a Difference

While the event may be over, the mission continues. Every dollar counts, and it’s never too late to donate and support the KickStart for Kids program. If you’d like to help provide meals for children in need, visit kickstartforkids.com.au and make a contribution.

Let’s keep the conversation going and ensure that no child in South Australia has to start their day hungry. KickStart for Kids Raising Awareness for Child Poverty in SA
